FFA/Friendswood Arts is a registered 501©3 nonprofit organization, dedicated to their mission to “Promote Community Creativity & Artist Opportunity". We believe that the best way to do this is by presenting fun and exciting events free to the community, to encourage continued interests in the arts, regardless of income or current economic stresses.
Friendswood Arts is the areas only nonprofit art group run entirely by Volunteers which allow all profits by our organization to be returned to the community through organization donations and events such as Art on the Lawn, their largest event of the year, designed to enrich the landscape of Friendswood and the surrounding areas. No individual will profit monetarily from their efforts through Friendswood Arts, an approach that has aided the success of Friendswood Arts since its inception in 2009. We are truly grateful for all of the amazing Volunteers, who come together through their love of the arts and their dedication to our community, without whom none of our successes could have been accomplished.
Encouraged by the influx of art groups and art related businesses that have developed in the years since Friendswood Arts began cultivating the local art scene, it is our hope that the countless hours that we have devoted to this cause may have, in a small way, encouraged those entities and helped to foster a more art-friendly community.
